Shipping Policy

• Items over $99 ship for Free via UPS Ground Shipping or USPS Priority to destinations inside the continental 48 united states.

• AK / HI 18lb Alternators orders have an additional shipping fee of $99

• A direct signature is required for delivery on any orders over $99.

• It is the customer's responsibility to ship any units needing warranty service to the MechMan repair facility. Please contact MechMan for an RGA number before shipping the unit.

• Costs associated with repairing damage caused by return shipping will be required to be paid for by the customer.

• MechMan will cover return shipping costs to ship alternators repaired under warranty to any customer inside the continental 48 unit states.

• Customers outside of the continental 48 united states will be liable for return shipping costs for alternators repaired under warranty.

Return Policy

MechMan alternators are built to order and are non-refundable. Returns are accepted on an exchange basis only and must be approved by MechMan before shipping — please contact us to start the return process and receive an RGA number.

• New and unused, in the original packaging, within 30 days of purchase: accepted on an exchange basis with a 30% restocking fee.

• Returns after 30 days: subject to our approval. If approved, the same 30% restocking fee applies.

• Units returned as new that are found to be used: all returns are inspected on arrival. Any unit submitted as new in the original packaging that is found to have been installed or used is subject to a restocking fee of 50% of the purchase price. Once an alternator has been installed we can no longer sell it as new.

Restocking fees do not apply to units returned for warranty service. See the shipping terms above for warranty return shipping.
