This 6-phase alternator makes excellent output at idle and features a standard diameter pulley for improved belt grip. It also has an extremely efficient finned rectifier assembly with (16) diodes for outstanding durability. It is highly recommended to fabricate a simple upper metal bracket support for maximum rigidity, belt alignment and durability. We recommend this on all Ford V-mount style alternators that do not have the (2) upper "ears/supports" like you see in our version. For any questions or concerns, please email Tony@Mechman.com
