320 amp high output alternator Ford 6.2L Gas

320 amp Elite series large case hairpin alternator for T mount Ford 6.2L (and related) engines. This alternator features twin rectifier plates and larger press fit diodes for excellent durability. This alternator also retains the factory ECU interface plug, and will work fine with the stock ECU. With over 180 amps at engine idle RPM, and a full 320+ amps at normal vehicle cruising speed, this alternator will work great in virtually any application. NOTE: Like most high output alternators, this alternator will require a slightly shorter than stock length belt to be installed for proper belt tension.

Installation Notes:

This unit comes equipped with a smaller 1.75 inch diameter alternator pulley, and will require a slightly shorter drive belt for proper belt tension.  Not recommended for sustained use above 5,000 RPM engine speed.
