Does your new alternator need a 12v switched source connection? Want to have a professional looking installation that is secure and requires no soldering or physical wiretapping? This is all you need!
These FT102 (MICRO2) fuse taps are to be used with any of our alternators that require a 12v switched source to help ensure proper "turn on" operation at low idle RPM situations. Popular harnesses this can be used with are our H104, H106, P101 and all of the P101-L-# voltage boosting harnesses. 4ft of 14-gauge yellow wire included along with the appropriate connector already crimped on the wire.
*** INSTALLATION NOTES *** It is important the direction of the fuse tap is installed back into the vehicles OEM fuse location. Please use the picture/diagram explaining the "battery side" and the "load side". This can be easily overlooked but once again we want to provide the right tool for the right job and education for a safe, reliable and easy installation!
